A Note From Pastor Mark  Dear Church Family, What a great weekend we had at Lakeside! I loved experiencing the Lord's Supper with you and seeing so many visitors come to the marriage seminar. I look forward to seeing how the Lord works in our marriages through this ministry. Just want to give you another reminder about AWANA coming up in a few weeks. Relationship Matters Marriage Seminar
Wednesdays Through September 8 • 6:30-8:00 p.m.
OR Saturdays Through September 11 • 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Join Pastor Mark for a three week marriage enrichment conference. Come and learn powerful principles that will strengthen your marriage. There is something for everyone so even if you are single, please join us and learn how to apply these principles to all of your relationships. On Wednesdays, kids 1st - 6th grade will join Jim Horn in the DMZ for Pier Pressure, a series to teach them how not to just cope with negative peer pressure, but to overcome it. Childcare is also available for preschool - kindergarten.

| Give All Year for Mission Offerings
The church voted to put all Mission Offerings together as one. Give to all missions offerings each time you give a gift to the church by putting your gift in World Missions or marking it on your check. 64% of the total will go to International Missions (SBC), 27% to American Missions (SBC), and 9% to Texas Missions (percentages based on gifts from the last three years).

MOPS - Mother’s of Preschoolers
This ministry serves moms in the early stages of mothering (infants through 6 years). MOPS meets 1st Thursday of every month. We have a need for childcare volunteers. If you would be willing to serve please call Shelly Atwood at 817-736-0403
Men's Bible Study
Mondays 8:00-9:00 p.m. OR Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Men, it's time to jump back into Men's Bible Study. We will be studying "The Man That God Uses" by Henry and Tom Blackaby. We will meet Monday nights beginning September 13 or Wednesday nights beginning September 15.

Lakeside Baptist Academy is now registering for theatre and performance classes for children. Theatre is an amazing medium for reaching our community for Christ! Come and be a part of LBA’s Performance Academy and let “this little light of mine” fill the stage and shine into a world full of darkness. Your child will experience professional theatre training and will share their faith through shows with messages of hope! Use the gifts and talents God has given to reach a lost world through the arts! Classes available for ages 4-18 and are open to the public. Auditions are coming soon! Good News Club Volunteers Needed
Child Evangelism Fellowship is leading Good News Clubs in schools all around Granbury. Children are being saved because of these programs. They are looking for volunteers to work at Brawner Elementary School. There will be a teacher refresher course on September 25 if you are interested. Call Pam Lott at 817-326-3292.
