Guns up! Ministry to Men is sponsoring a church-wide clay shoot at Lone Star Sporting Clays in Glen Rose. Team and individual awards for highest scores. Test your bravery with the BLOB! Who? 5th and 6th graders. Cost $7.00. Bring your towel. Girls must wear a one piece suit or wear a dark t-shirt cover up the entire time. This is Riverbend's rules for swimsuits. Girls and guys must wear a cover up to and from (no swimsuits on the bus). Eat supper BEFORE you come . . . and bring some snackies to share if you want! SPACE IS LIMITED!
Middle School Mission Trip will be held June 8th-12th and is for 7th & 8th grade students. The mission trip will be held at MISSION ARLINGTON in Arlington Texas. The Cost is $99.00 - No deposit required. Must be paid in full. Must be registered and paid in full by May 4th. 2014 Medical Card Required. REQUIREMENTS: Active participation in Sunday School and must attend all trainings. Be prepared to share your testimony.
Camp Collide is for students who have completed grades 7th - 12th. Cost $200.00 - $50.00 deposit required to register. You may pay in full or by pay with installments. Balance is due: Sunday, June 15th, 2014. There are only 70 spots available! Please plan to attend the Camp Collide Parent Meeting on Sunday June 8th right after church in The Edge.
The High School Mission Trip will be held in Seattle Washington, working with Essential Church July 19th-26th for students in grades 9-12. The cost is $900.00. TRIP MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY JULY 16th, 2014. Requirements: Must have completed 9th grade by the time of the trip. Active participation in Sunday School and MUST attend ALL trainings. Be prepared to share your testimony.
Approximate cost: $900 depending on airfare costs Deposit: $100 Team Leader: Mark Kirk. Lakeside will be working with our partner, Essential Church, in Love Bellevue. This is an outreach event which consists of hosting sports camps, block parties, and other activities for the community. This event happens over the course of 2 weeks and Lakeside will be assisting with the 2nd week. This event is similar to our Love Granbury.
Cost: $2650 Deposit: $300 Maximum for the trip: 25 Team Leader Angie Logozzo. Lakeside will be working with our partner Compassion International. This year the trip will be for both women and men. The men will mainly do construction and work on the homes of ladies in need as identified by Compassion. Types of projects will be working to install a roof or working bathroom in the homes of women.
