Join LBC’s Praise Team, Band, and Orchestra for an inspiring evening of music and testimony. This high-energy, multi-media event will celebrate what God’s doing in the lives of His people. It’s FREE and open to the public, so invite a friend. It’s time to “shout to God with joyful praise” (Ps. 47:1) and TESTIFY!

Guns Up! Men, Women, and Youth (with parent) Invited! Must sign up by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. Squads will have 5 shooters each, recruit your own squad if you prefer however a Lakeside member must be present on each team. Non-reserved shooters accepted on a first come first serve basis until squads are full. Bring your own gun, shells - ear and eye protection required! Plan to shoot 100 clay targets (50 target option). Shot sizes limited to #7.5, #8, and #9 (#8 recommended). COME AND ENJOY A GREAT TIME OUTDOORS!

Who? Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders. Cost $7.00. We will leave Lakeside promptly at 5:30 p.m. We will need parents to sign up and help chaperone this event. Kinder kids must have a parent accompany them. SPACE IS LIMITED!

Calling all students in 7th-12th grades! Join us for inflatables, prizes, worship with LSM Praise Band, guest speaker Jeremy Caskey, and Chick-fil-A dinner for $4.00. Be there! Camp Collide is June 22-26.

Plan ahead for Lakeside Student Ministry graduation activities. The Senior Banquet will be Saturday, May 17. Then join us during worship on Sunday, May 18 as we honor our graduates. Deadline for banquet RSVPs and slideshow pictures is Sunday, May 4 (email Kristi Whitten at kwhitten@lakesidebc.org).

Test your bravery with the BLOB! Who? 5th and 6th graders. Cost $7.00. Bring your towel. Girls must wear a one piece suit or wear a dark t-shirt cover up the entire time. This is Riverbend's rules for swimsuits. Girls and guys must wear a cover up to and from (no swimsuits on the bus). Eat supper BEFORE you come . . . and bring some snackies to share if you want! SPACE IS LIMITED!

Who? 6th graders only. Cost $7.00 per person. Please wear comfortable pants or longer type shorts, if not you will be very uncomfortable. Also must wear close toe shoes. Bring a sack lunch for supper. SPACE IS LIMITED!

Who? 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Cost $25 per person. Please meet us at FCS Paintball in Acton. Must wear appropriate paintball clothes! Closed toe shoes only. Eat supper BEFORE you come . . . and bring some snackies to share if you want! SPACE IS LIMITED!

Middle School Mission Trip will be held June 8th-12th and is for 7th & 8th grade students. The mission trip will be held at MISSION ARLINGTON in Arlington Texas. The Cost is $99.00 - No deposit required. Must be paid in full. Must be registered and paid in full by May 4th. 2014 Medical Card Required. REQUIREMENTS: Active participation in Sunday School and must attend all trainings. Be prepared to share your testimony.        

This camp is for kids who have completed grades 4 - 6. It is an exciting adventure camp with worship, recreation, crafts, games and more. Limited number of spots available so register early. For more information or questions please contact Gina Wilson in the church office at 817-573-2094.

Team Leader: Regina George. Lakeside will be working with our partner at Alpha and Omega school to provide a vacation bible school for up to 150 children. The team will also help with various outreach events related to the 100 year anniversary of the church. Approximate Cost: $1750, Deposit: $100

Camp Collide is for students who have completed grades 7th - 12th. Cost $200.00  - $50.00 deposit required to register.  You may pay in full or by pay with installments.  Balance is due: Sunday, June 15th, 2014. There are only 70 spots available! Please plan to attend the Camp Collide Parent Meeting on Sunday June 8th right after church in The Edge.

The High School Mission Trip will be held in Seattle Washington, working with Essential Church July 19th-26th for students in grades 9-12. The cost is $900.00.  TRIP MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY JULY 16th, 2014. Requirements: Must have completed 9th grade by the time of the trip. Active participation in Sunday School and MUST attend ALL trainings. Be prepared to share your testimony.

Approximate cost: $900 depending on airfare costs Deposit: $100 Team Leader: Mark Kirk. Lakeside will be working with our partner, Essential Church, in Love Bellevue. This is an outreach event which consists of hosting sports camps, block parties, and other activities for the community. This event happens over the course of 2 weeks and Lakeside will be assisting with the 2nd week. This event is similar to our Love Granbury.

Cost: $2650 Deposit: $300 Maximum for the trip: 25 Team Leader Angie Logozzo. Lakeside will be working with our partner Compassion International. This year the trip will be for both women and men. The men will mainly do construction and work on the homes of ladies in need as identified by Compassion. Types of projects will be working to install a roof or working bathroom in the homes of women.
