Christ-centered Education for K-12
LBA is a homeschooling co-op which provides opportunities for students to develop morally, intellectually, and spiritually—so they can succeed academically and transform the culture for Christ. LBA is founded on the philosophy that parental involvement is fundamental to a child’s success in life, and that this involvement can be enhanced through collaboration with trained, gifted teachers. Additionally, by offering teaching techniques, ideas, curriculum suggestions, and creative hands-on lessons, LBA trains parents to more effectively homeschool their children.
Classes held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
All Elementary (K-6th) Academic Classes are self-contained and meet from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day. Numerous electives meet before and after school, and are chosen as needed by each family. Students may attend just for an individual elective.
All Junior High and High School (7th-12th) Academic and Elective Classes meet between 9:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. Each student selects his/her own schedule depending on needs. Some prerequisites do apply for certain subjects.
“I urge you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2
